金鶯隊火力大爆發，轟出8支全壘打，締造了隊史紀錄，終場金鶯19比3大勝費城人，讓費城人苦吞8連敗。
今天賽前，金鶯隊動用選擇權將陳偉殷下放到小聯盟，將 Chris Parmelee 升上大聯盟，結果他此戰分別在第2局及第6局轟出雙響砲。
27歲的 Chris Parmelee ，過去效力雙城隊，今年轉到金鶯隊，先前都在3A，今天是他本季第1次在大聯盟出賽，就擊出包括2支全壘打在內的4支安打，打的費城人隊灰頭土臉。
不止是 Chris Parmelee ，金鶯隊 Manny Machado也轟雙響砲，有3分打點，Jimmy Paredes、Chris Davis、Ryan Flaherty、David Lough各轟1支全壘打，單場8轟，金鶯隊改寫隊史紀錄；過去金鶯隊曾3次單場7轟，最近一次是2012年9月26日對藍鳥隊之戰。
金鶯此戰擊出17支安打，J.J. Hardy雖沒擊出全壘打，但他單場3安、有1分打點，Travis Snider則是2安、2打點，費城人只擊出6支安打，包括Maikel Franco的2分彈（本季第7轟）。
金鶯打擊群完全爆發，Chris Tillman先發6局失3分，輕鬆拿勝投（5勝7敗），費城人先發投手是統一獅前洋投威廉（Jérome Williams），他先發0.2局失4分因傷退場，吞敗投（3勝7敗），第二任投手Dustin McGowan中繼3.1局被轟了5支全壘打，失7分。
